So it seems that Myuda's trap card was used once before in episode 43 which is why they glossed over its effect this time. In case you (likely) don't remember:

Basically they won by distracting Yuhi and Yuamu but at a huge cost DAmmit !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, not the characters that should have won! I mean, was their purpose so important rather than Yuuhi and Yuamu getting that robot??? NO! The emotional charge-up of the episode was good, but the outcome shouldn't have been like this! Yuuhi and Yuamu had the moral high ground to win and they didn't! Duels in Yugioh are about deciding who is right and wrong, aka winner and loser with a duel! And I am not looking forward to the next episode, since I feel they will try to trash Zwijo by giving Yuudias the win for no reason!

Episode is good and all there is little problem there and i am fine with the result BUT i need to say this: YUAMU IS JUST UTTERLY WASTED. One of the very few aspects that Rush yugioh has over Gallop shows is that Females are generally treated better but honestly at this point you can put Yuamu to a Gallop show and she wouldn't even feel out of place. She has been utterly useless for ages, she got brainwashed THRICE, she got no proper character development and she had always felt way less important than Yuuhi who got all the development and character arcs for himself and on top of it her only useful character trait that was being the brain of the group has long been completely overtaken by Yuuhi as well. Like just look at the second season and tell me what did she even do ? She is just there most of the time and even in this episode they give her the first turn (in another words the most useless turn) and gave Yuuhi the spotlight between the two as if Yuuhi needed it after being one of the absolute MVPs these last three arcs. She is literally NOTHING compare to Yuuhi and is so overshadowed by him in all aspects that it is pathetic.

And ironically this arc gave spotlight to characters like Manya and Rovian and now Dinois so i don't know why no for Yuamu. Does the writers actually hate her ? She needs A LOT to save her character after this much nothing and yet the writers are not even bothering with her

And yeah her character is completely wasted while Yuna has more development in 5 eps compared to Yuamu in 20 eps.

Uhm, count the number of victories. She actually has more victories than Yuuhi and even beat him in a duel. This show is about winning duels, trust me she had enough in the previous arcs. Not to mention beating Manabu in his crazy state.

Win and loses are important but are not everything. She lacks the character development and importance, not to mention most lf her wins are insignificant. Beating crazy Manabu is not some grand accomplishment

I respect you but have to disagree. This is an anime about Duelling. And Duels are about winning and losing to prove your point. Each character in previous series got their development through beating opponents who were supposed to be superior to them. Best example is Joey Wheeler, who developed as a character slowly and gradually learning to be a pro duellist by beating Espa Roba, Weevil (a foster pro), and even got close to beat Marik - which would have allowed him to gain Kaiba's respect! So no, the Duels in this anime ARE the character development you speak about. Only that in this series, the essence of the duel was completely trashed and made a joke, which saddens me.

Hold on. I'm blocking all Rush Duel haters. I didn't care much about the episode at first considering Dinois and Myuda here, but they managed to make it emotional and heartbreaking here.

Another emotional episode... I wouldn't expect Dinois to react this big to Myuda's disappearance. It's cool to see their new Fusion card tho. Tbh, this episode didn't keep up to my hype level. I hope the next episode will match the hype level it gives.
